Rooted in Shepherdsville

I’ve lived in Shepherdsville for 36 years. I attended Western Kentucky University, where my late husband, Pastor Tony Stamps, and I began our life together. We made Shepherdsville home and raised our family here.

I serve at Victory Baptist Church as Children’s Ministry Director and Administrative Assistant. That work has given me a close-up view of the hopes, needs, and everyday concerns of children, parents, and families in our community.

I’m not running to be a politician. I’m running because I want to serve Shepherdsville in a practical way by listening to residents, learning where the needs are, and helping support programs and resources that benefit our children, families, and residents of all ages.

To me, what makes Shepherdsville amazing is its people. It is the smiles and the “Hey, how are you?” greetings you hear when you are out. It is neighbors helping neighbors when they see a need. It is the love people have shown my family and the kindness they have woven into the story of our lives. That sense of community is what makes Shepherdsville home.

Serving with Purpose

Opportunities for Families

I want to support programs and expand opportunities for families to come together and enjoy our community. I believe these shared experiences help families connect, make lasting memories, and strengthen our community.

Listening to Residents

It is not about being right. It is about doing what is right for our community. I want residents to feel heard and know their concerns are taken seriously. We may not always agree, but I will listen carefully, communicate clearly, follow through, and work with others to make thoughtful decisions for our community.

Professional Leadership

I want to bring professionalism to City Council by treating others with respect and staying focused on the issues. To me, leadership means being prepared, making thoughtful decisions, and taking responsibility for those decisions.

Serving the Community I Call Home

I am running because I care about Shepherdsville and want to give back to the community that has given so much to my family. I believe serving others means being willing to step forward, do the work, and help where you can. I want to help care for the community we have today while building a strong future for our children and grandchildren. This is another way for me to serve the place I call home.
